Privacy

inbrowser.sh is built on three rules:

  1. Every tool runs entirely in your browser. We do not send your input anywhere.
  2. We do not require an account, store profiles or use tracking cookies.
  3. Aggregate usage is measured with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-less and does not see your input.

Tool input and output

Text pasted into formatters, encoders, decoders, generators, QR tools, Markdown preview, and similar utilities is processed locally in your browser. inbrowser.sh does not intentionally transmit that content to a server for processing.

What is stored locally

Your theme preference (dark/light) is saved in localStorage. You can clear it any time from your browser settings.

Analytics and advertising

inbrowser.sh uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic without tracking cookies. inbrowser.sh also uses Google AdSense to review the site and, when approved, serve advertising. Google and other advertising vendors may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on visits to this site and other sites. These ad systems do not need your tool input to run inbrowser.sh tools.

You can manage browser cookies in your browser settings. You can also control personalized advertising through Google's ad settings at adssettings.google.com.

Security headers and third-party services

We ship a Content Security Policy that limits where scripts, fonts, images, and network requests can load from. The policy allows the third-party services needed for analytics and advertising while keeping tool logic client-side.
